When I feel mad…

You’re angry.

At least, that’s what everyone tells you.

Only, you might argue that you’re NOT angry.

Only, it looks an awful lot like angry.

Short temper.  Slamming drawers or cabinets.  Stomping around.  Loud voice.  Failed restraint.

The thing is, if if looks like anger, that’s how others are going to respond to you.

No one can respond to your sadness, your hurt, your shame, guilt or disappointment if it LOOKS and sounds like anger.

If you’re uncertain about how to go about changing the way people ‘misunderstand’ you, give me a call.  I’m here to listen and tease out the real, underlying feelings.  What IF you could say what you really feel and others responded to those feelings?

How might your life be different?

Let’s see if it makes a difference.
