Hi, I’m Delee!

  • I hate cruise control

  • Love the first sip of coffee in the morning

  • I've yet to meet a beach that I didn't love

  • Heart of a saint & mouth like a sailor

  • M&M's mixed into my popcorn (hello sweet AND salty!)

  • I cry while singing the National Anthem

  • Walks on the beach are good for my soul.

  • Deeply felt wanderlust

Nice to meet you.

  • "I have worked with Delee for the better part of ten years. What started off as learning to navigate personal relationships has transformed into also including my professional relationships. Delee offers a unique perspective, one that I wouldn’t encounter in my day-to-day life, with a focus on looking at all angles of a problem. Specifically, I’ve learned how conflict can be used to strengthen relationships. Delee has worked with me in helping to identify what I want out of various areas of my life, then formulating a game plan to achieve those goals. She has a great balance of accountability, without the judgement. I am grateful for all the time we’ve spent together!"

  • “Delee is incredible and someone I can truly call a friend. She has helped me unravel issues that I didn’t even know that I had, and I’d say the difference in my happiness from when I started therapy is enormous - I feel like a brand new person. I have my confidence back and a new thirst for life that I have never felt before. Thank you Delee for everything. You have honestly changed my life.”

  • "I've been seeing Delee for almost a year now. She has really helped me with a lot of life events. Starting out my father that I was very close to passed away and it was very difficult for me. Second my marriage that I thought was rock solid fell apart and now I am going through that process. I honestly don't know how I would be able to handle any of this without her support. She has even gone out of her way to check on me and make sure that I was okay. I went to three or four therapist before I found Delee and it was worth going through all of that to find her. Thank you Delee I know we still have a lot of work to do, but your commitment to helping me has been exactly what I needed."

I’m willing to be a hardass.

So I know it can feel like a real pain and energy suck to find a great fit for a therapist.

You’ve been searching, checking out therapist profiles, trying to get a feel for how they really are, and assessing by their pictures and “About Me” pages if they can really handle your sh*t.

If they can really be “the one” that you spill it all out to, and see if they can actually help you and get you some results.

I get it, and I want you to find that perfect, glass-slipper-fit, for your counseling.

So I hope you have a pretty good feel for me by now, and my website is doing me justice. So you don’t have to waste anymore time “feeling it out.”

If you can’t tell by now, I’m a straight shooter, and I’m willing to be a hard ass and challenge you to make change. Because that’s why you’re here, right? And I want that for you, just as much as you do!

I also bring a hell of a lot of warmth, compassion, and understanding for what you’re going through.

I shoot from the hip and get serious when it’s needed, but we get to laugh our asses off too - all at the same time.

Just a snippet of what you might hear a client saying about their time with me…

“It feels so good to come into her office and sit down on the couch. The feeling is calming and peaceful. She is warm and inviting, looks me in the eye and is easy to laugh with. She's quick witted, intuitive, has some great analogies that make it all that much easier to share and feel understood. She is calming and supportive and yet will challenge me on why I'm not working towards the change I say I want to happen.

She will share (appropriately of course) her own experiences - which make me feel seen, heard, and normal when I might believe that I'm the ONLY one who feels this/that or has experienced this/that.

She might cuss a bit (or will apologize for her sailor's mouth if something slips).  Encourages me to consider the difference in beliefs, feelings, and facts! (you cannot argue a feeling but you can tennis-match those facts or beliefs ALL day long).”

I know it can be hard to get a feel for if we would be a good fit or not, so feel welcomed to schedule a free 15 minute consult!
